This dealership exemplifies the worst in ‘used car salesmen’ tactics and behavior. Not only was I sold a lemon car that started malfunctioning within a month of purchase, but I was strong-armed into putting down twice the cash down at purchase than what was agreed to. The paperwork was completed with a higher cash down amt and when I protested, Sammy, the salesman basically lied and pretended that he had mentioned it to his boss previously (who agreed) and that was the only way the financing could go through. I later found out this was a lie after contacting the financing agent.
This being my first car purchase, I was not savvy enough to stand up for my rights, as well as seek recourse over being sold a lemon car.
In addition to the fact that I was kept waiting for at least an hour after having made an appointment to come in and pick up the car, this was a horrible experience. Unless you want to deal with the stereotypical unethical used car salesman, I would run not walk from this dealership!
This is the worst establishment I have ever dealt with!! I purchased a vehicle and they reassured me that NOTHING was wrong with it but they would check it over and make sure and fix it if there was, Needless to say, after getting the vehicle I brought it to my mechanic and the vehicle should have never passed inspection..EVERYTHING was wrong with it!! I brought it back to them and told them to fix it as they promised to do so and I thought they were keeping that promise, I took it back to my mechanic to find out that Nothing was fixed!! These people should lose their licence, they are crooks and I hope that no one has to ever go through what I have had to with them.
I found a car at Frontier Autohaus through a search on the web. We went and looked at the car, test drove it. It had a lot of things wrong with it. Sammy assured us that everything would be fixed and if we put a deposit down ($100 so no one else could buy it)we could get the deposit back if for ANY reason we didn’t want the car. “We deal in high end cars, your $100 is nothing to us”. Unfortunetly, we believe him. I’m starting to believe that is how he makes his money. Stealing from 21 year olds. I would not say this is a trustworthy dealership and do NOT give them a dime unless you plan on loosing it. If you do buy a high end car from them, hope you don’t have any problem. Can’t imagine how that would turn out.
I almost purchased a high line car. I backed out of the deal within 24 hours because I found out how expensive it would be to maintain and repair this model although it was nice. There was not a decent extended warranty to be purchased in sight. The salesman has refused to give me my deposit back
and he wont. The bad thing is I had purchased two high end cars from them in the past wich totaled $46000. There is no loyalty. If I had purchased 2 vehicles before
and couldnt get my deposit back just imagine how a new customer will be treated.
I am extremely upset. Bottom line is make sure you research a car and you better
be 100% sure when you purchase from them. There is no merciful heart there.
Frontier autohaus proved to be real gentlemen. They gave me back my deposit and I had some blame in this situation. I take back my previous review whole heartedly.
