I recently purchased a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 from Ronan Dodge. I first contacted them thru the internet, after a deal was made John offered to meet me part way (nice gesture I thought). After exchanging pick-up’s and driving home I noticed the transmission was not performing correctly I took it to the nearest Dodge dealer to only find it needs a new transmission. I called Ronan the next business day and told them what was needed there reply was you own it. I am now talking with an attorney. BEWARE!!
This dealer was fantastic.
I walked in not ready for another terrible dealership, and totally not knowing what to expect. Ronan really upped my standards on everything, they were smiling and really seemed to care that I choose them to buy a car. John Slack was focused on finding me the car that I wanted and the would fit my needs the best. This dealer was like none other. I will be sure to always use them, and reccomend them to everyone.
I contacted this dealer because I liked a listing they had online. I live approximately 1 1/2 hours away so I made sure to tell them exactly what I expected. I have a 1996 audi that has a trade in value of 4650 according to KBB, and I was trading in for a 2004 nissan xterra. When I got there I drove the vehicle and was ready to buy. I told them if they were able to get me close to the KBB trade in I could pay cash for the balance. They, by they I mean Nick there financial officer, offered me 500 dollars for my tradein, are you crazy? They accually told me not to get mad before they told me, nice intro! That being said I told them it was unfortunte that they wasted my and my wife’s time. We drove there and had to drive right back, there wasn’t even a response when I told them that wasn’t even close to what I had expected and that I had told them what I was hoping to get for the car before I drove down there. Complete waste of my time and there theme is, “you make the drive and we’ll make the deal” Yeah right! They didn’t even attempt to !
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Nick and the dealership he represents. They showed me NADA book value on mine and of course showed me the reconditioning deductions. But what was really surprising is they showed me NADA on their vehicle. Mine needed a little reconditioning it was a 4 year old Stratus. I purchased a 2 year old Dodge Ram 1500 and it was beautiful. There was no real haggling. They spent extra time with me so I totally understood the negotiating process. I am very happy and would recommend this store to my family and friends
