I went in to the store looking to rebuild my credit. I was approached by one salesman who then directed me to luis. Luis was nice and very helpful. however , they would not discuss any vehicle on the lot for my budget other than a 2003 ford explorer they said was on the lot “only 3 days”. I got the suv as is, so I can understand if there would issues literally down the road. luis assured me that I was not going to be put in a negatively impacting situation with this explorer. 24 hours after I left the lot, the check engine light comes on and the O/D OFF light keeps flashing and the suv starts shifting weird. did not happen in the test drive. I took it back and found it was a shift solenoid issue; a 1000.00 plus fix usually done right. I was told, ” you bought it as is and you have to maintain it.” MAINTAIN WHAT?! THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT OUT OF THE BLUE! I ALSO GOT TOLD , SOMETIMES SHIT HAPPENS! THEY WOULD NOT WORK WITH ME AT GETTING THE PART REPLACED, ONLY AN ENGINE SCAN THAT I got free at aamco anyway that would not have helped. I would not recommend them due to the fact that I am CERTAIN they cleared the engine codes when they got the truck and knew about this issue. On top of that, I traded my kia optima for the explorer and they said they would pay off my loan on it. Now 3 weeks later, I find out they never contacted my loan agent about this and the Kia may have already been auctioned. Now , I get to fight larry miller SCREWBARU and my loan place due to this. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.
Aaron was not high pressure at all. I took the car a couple of times to make my decision. I am waiting for some small items to be fixed that I was told would be taken care of by his manager Matt… We’ll see how that goes.
Terribly condescending sales manager. Would not reccomend to anyone. Walked out after listening to a 5 minute rant about how I was wasting their time. Fair enough, my money went to another dealer.
Very high sales pressure
false claims as to equipment
would not consider my questions about other color, options, etc
did not handle paperwork as promised
😡
🙂
I went to Larry Miller Subaru because I was deciding between that or a couple other car companies but had heard great things about Subaru’s from my friends. I was greeted by Sam from Virginia with a southern draw and a very friendly demeanor. He educated me about not only the Subaru but the main differences between the Subaru vs the other companies without putting them down. He told me about all of the rebates and even brought up financing incentives and gave me options if I wanted a used Subaru. It was so easy, he walked me through the entire process and when I said, “Sam, is this your best deal” he said I think I can get you better, wait right here! Very low pressure and I’d recommend Larry Miller Subaru and Sam Fogelgren as the best salesman you could get to all my friends and have already sent me sister to buy a car from him. A+++ and I get free car washes every week for life
