[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]I decided to purchase a used car in the United States and enlisted the help of a Canadian vehicle broker to locate, secure and transport a Lexus IS350 from the US to Canada. My broker had a number of discussions with Rustyn Smith of [/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]Smith Family Motors[/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif] and was assured by [/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]Rustyn Smith[/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif] that the car he had in inventory fit the exact parameters I was looking for:

- [FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]the car was a lease return[/FONT]
- [FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]was in as close to new condition as possible for a 2006 or 2007 vehicle [/FONT]
- [FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]no major accidents or damage[/FONT]
- [FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]clean car fax report[/FONT]
[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]Unfortunately much of the above was not true[/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif] although Rustyn Smith had asserted to my broker that the condition of the car was very good and sent us photos that displayed a vehicle in good shape. He seemed to intentionally not send us photos that displayed many of the [/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]significant scratches, damaged rims,[/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif] or the [/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]bald mismatched tire [/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]on the rear right of the car.

[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]The car's condition was extremely poor not "good condition" as represented by Smith Family Motors. Due to the damages I had to spend: $1600 on new rims, $680 on tire sensors, buy two new tires for the rear of the car ($650), get the car detailed to try and remove some of the scratches ($800), and purchase a second FOB for $350. The total additional cost to me of[/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif] reconditioning the car is over $3,900.

[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]Not only was this car not a lease return, it was a repossession and Rustyn's suggestion that the car was in good condition was not even close to accurate as you can see from the Lexus IS350 [/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]photos[/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif] I have posted for your review. Fortunately for me the truck transporter took photos prior to picking the car up at Smith Family Motors because he was concerned with all the [/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]evident damages[/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif].[/FONT]

Change is opinion !!! what a joke .I have looked at your pictures and his pictures and it's obvious you knew how the car was and you didn't disclose the real condition of the car.it's easy to take advantage of people like us because you know we are too far and we aren't going to knock on your door !! but people will know what happened to us.

Update on Simth Family Motors Customer Review-Lexus IS350
I purchased a Lexus IS350 from Smith Family Motors. There were a few issues with the car and they compensated me to ensure the car met my expectations. I feel Corwyn Smith went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with my car well after the purchase.
