I have been looking to buy a car since last Tuesday. I was looking for either a used car, or a new car with rebates. I had about 2000 dollars negative equity, and knew exactly what I could afford. After spending all of my free time from Tuesday – Friday evening at some big name dealershipsI kept finding salesman that did nothing but tried to upsale me on cars that I didn't like for more than they were worth. This I expected so no real gripe here. But, at about 7:00 on Friday I was able to make my way up to Bob Howard. I ended up with a salesman named Brent Yates. Long story short Brent actually listened to my wife and I, and paid equal attention to what we both were looking for. There was absolutely no pressure to do anything that night (we were there after they closed) or to not come back the next day if we wanted. We got a great value on our trade in, and at the end of the day we ended up with a certified vehicle, with 25,000 miles, at a price that we were comfortable with (about 2k less than they were asking for it online). We were there till about 1 am and everything worked out great. We got a carfax report on the vehicle, and after getting home I looked up the resale value on the vehicle and confirmed that I did get a much better deal then what I was asking for. I'm not saying I would make him my daughters God parent, but I doubt I will ever have a car buying experience that worked out as well as last night did. So, if you are looking for a car, call this guy. Brent Yates (405) 936-8800. I will also note that this week was not the first time I bought a car, and I'm not someone who tries to play games with the dealerships. I was well educated about my personal finances and what my banks restrictions were. I was also completely ready to buy something that night. All of the above will go great lengths when dealing with any salesman. And, lets not forget that sometimes the numbers just fall in the right place, and some days things will work when others wont.
Respectfully,
Daniel J
