I bought a ford focus with in a month the transmission started slipping. I took it back to frank myers and his mechanic told robert to have me change the transmission fluid and that would fix the transmission. Needless to say it continued to slip. I took it back to frank myers who than admitted it had a ford warranty on it. Traci Myers said he didn't know it had a 1000 mile drive train warranty RIGHT!!!! Ford had this problem flagged and is fixing it free on all Ford focus's. Mines a 2007. My mechanic also told me the bearing was real bad and needed fixed immediatly. The brakes were also to the hub. Ford rebuilt the transmission after I had paid the $115.00 for the transmission fluid change. Ford also fixed the bearing. Both under warranty if they hadn't already been flagged by ford. The ford mechanic and frank myers mechanic are good friends. (I found this out when I went back several times for repairs) So why weren't these problems fixed before it was sold? they did the 160 point insection ( or number close to that) why didn't they find these problems and repair them before they sold the car. I know the mechanic had to know everything in a test drive that my mechanic found. My mechanic said if the bearing breaks i would wreck. Thanks to all of you at Frank Myer for not caring if my children die in an accident. The ford focus has a poor rating in all wrecks. I also had to pay to get new brake shoes and hubs. I had poor credit because my husbands work dropped to 1/3 of his usual pay. this was not our fault but we paid highly getting this piece of junk from frank myers. The water leaks in to the door. The front floor is always wet. This car should have been sold to a junk yard. Believe it or not he charged us 11,000 dollars of this piece of junk.

Thank you for posting a review of my service department. If I am not mistaken, you also posted a less than glowing review back in July under the user name FEDUPWITHRIPOFFS. Am I correct? First of all, let me apologize for any problems that you may have had with your Focus. It is NEVER my intentions to sell a car that will give mechanical problems. However, I have reached out to you several times over the past few months and offered a variety of resolutions (to no avail). Shortly after you had your transmission problem, I offered to trade you out of the Focus and into a car that you were happier with. You and your husband thanked us but refused. Then I paid for your rental car while your repair work was being completed by Ford. When you shared your unhappiness with the extended service contract that you bought, I helped you cancel it. Now you say that you have a leaking door and brake issues. I want to try and find out what is wrong with your door that is causing it to leak PLUS I want to reimburse you for your brake job and your transmission service. You shouldn't have had to pay for either of these things. Did you keep the brakes or take a picture, by chance? My inspection report showed 60% of the brakes were remaining when we sold it. In closing, I want you to know that I appreciate you as a customer and my door is always open to make my customers experiences better. It sounds as if you are still unhappy and, if you will call or email me, I will schedule a time to sit down and discuss how we can make this situation as good as possible. I can't help if I don't hear from you.
