First off, my credit sucks! I filled out an online application and was emailed several times to come in. My thoughts were pretty conclusive that this was a marketing ploy to get me to come to the dealership so I could be told face to face NO. About a week later, I received a phone call to set an appointment and after a few minutes, I felt ok with the decision to go ahead and make the appointment, which I did. I met with Bo who sat down with me and asked me what my situation was. The funny thing was that he actually sat there and listened. When I was finished "making my case", he looked me dead in the eye and said they could help. They did. Not only did they finance me, but I am in a Mustang Convertible with an affordable payment! Look, like I said my credit sucks. For those reviews complaining about the interest rate, take their advice. Make the payment on time, every time and within 18 to 24 months refinance. They even offered to help me with this.

Their staff is friendly and helpful. I think the negative posters are allowing the anger of their own situation to show. I am thankful for the loan (at 28% by the way). It's still a loan and I am an extremely high credit risk. If I bite the bullet, make the payments and refinance, then they have made it all worth the while. Oh, and my car had a headlight short and their service department has not stopped with regards to making the repairs. While they tried once and couldn't get it working, I am dropping it by after work today for them to try again. While I am there, they remember and call me by my name, treat me with respect and dignity and make me feel at home. If your credit sucks and you are WILLING to bite the bullet and make your payments on time. If you are willing and able to make the payments and you have the strong desire to rebuild your credit, then Thrifty in conjunction with Platinum Auto Finance is the place to go. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful and humbling experience.
