I took my daughter to this dealership to see what types of incentives were available on 2009 Corollas. They didn't have any 2009 models that my daughter liked. She did like a 2010 S model. The saleman insisted we take a test drive, which went well.

When the saleman asked if we were going to take the car home that night, I told we were not. He said that was OK, he just needed to park the car. When he came back I asked him what kind of a price he could get us on the car. He told us since we didn't commit to buy the car, he couldn't give me a price. I became angry and asked him if it was a "no-haggle" dealer. He wouldn't answer my questions, but became agitated because I was making a scene. He asked us to step aside. I did and calmed down. After asking every way from Sunday, he finally scribbled down some numbers, which were only slightly below sticker price. Then he told my daughter not to worry about prices, not to worry about interest rates, not to worry about payments. He told her to just find the car she liked and could imagine herself driving. HA! That's exactly the opposite of how I taught my daughter to buy a car. She was upset I made a scene, but she knew the salesman was a slimeball.

The salesman also told me the paint protectant and fabric protectant were applied at the factory and were non-negotiable. I know that's complete baloney. It's applied by the dealer; if at all. He wanted over $900 for those worthless add-ons.

Don't bother visiting Liberty Toyota. You might tell people you don't like to go there. At the very least, they'll waste their time. At the most, they'll get totally hosed and pressured into paying too much money for a Toyota.
