I went shopping for a car today. So i decided to see what Classic Chevrolet had. Well, I went there and never seen one car that they offered. Oh wait...I did get close to one. I told the salesman about my not-perfect credit and was told I needed to fill out a credit application to see what the bank will give me and not to bother looking at the cars until then. I didn't have my husband's info and was told I would have to contact him to call the credit place which my husband works nights and sleeps during the day. I never was given a price on my trade-in either. So I went out of that car lot, without seeing any cars other than some in the show room and I won't be back either. What car lot in their right mind won't let a customer see cars until they fill out a credit application? I have not had this problem with other car lots. Was told when they got the bank info back with what they approve, I could choose between 4-5 cars that the bank will chose for me.
