Over the years I have purchased a dozen new cars and was mentally preparing myself for the challenges that are typical with dealing with the dreaded car dealer.
I had spent an extensive amount of time on the web investigating a vehicle.
We decided on the 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring.
We first drove to Pride Hyundai Lynn, Ma and saw the vehicle on the front row far away from the showroom. While we were looking at the vehicle a well spoken and nice young man Permaul introduced himself and asked if he could assist us in any way.
I was prepared for the salesman two step but was very surprised at not having felt any pressure.
We told him that we would be back for a test drive.He gave us his card and asked us to give him a call when we were ready to do so.
We went back three more times, had the test drive and were very impressed at Permaul's knowlege of the car and the fantastic warrantys.
Once again we never felt any pressure to make the purchase.
When we finally decided to purchase the car I was again prepared to be pressured by the closer. You know that guy in the corner office who you have to see after you deal with the salesman.
Surprise # two, We ended up dealing with a gentleman named Fred Dalton.
I have never felt so comfortable dealing with a closer before and informed him of how I felt.
We purchased the 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring and I am as pleased with the car as I was with dealing with Permaul, Fred, and Kevin in the financing department.
If you are looking to purchase a new Hyundai in the Boston area look no farther.
