Had a timing belt replacement along with water pump and oil pump replacement on a 2.7 litre Chrysler Concorde. 3 weeks later the motor blew up. Found out rod bearings were gone. Was told it would cost $7500 to replace the engine by service dept. If the motor had been flushed out I don't believe the rod bearings would have been gone and other auto mechanics told me the same thing. This car had regular car serviced at a reputable garage prior to this repair. I feel that Holden Dodge could have taken some responsibility for this engine failure. I don't belive they should be repairing anything at this dealer other than lawn mowers.
