Honda Katy is a dealership full of liars – and there is nothing I despise more than a liar. After receiving several internet quotes from different dealerships, Veronica in internet sales sent us the following e-mail:

Thanks for your email. We sent you a price quote of $37,297.14 D.O on the Touring model which is $34,851.95 + TTL. We're not too far away from the deal. Is there anyway you can come in with your quote and give me the opputunity to beat it?
So after calling to confirm that SHE would be available and that the car we wanted was available ON THE LOT, we went to the dealership so she could beat the other quote.

Upon arrival:
[FONT=Wingdings]þ [/FONT]Veronica was no where to be found
[FONT=Wingdings]þ [/FONT]We were immediately “transferred” to a salesperson (Casey) who started in on the scarity of the model…clearly he has not been observing the tanking of the car industry.
[FONT=Wingdings]þ [/FONT]Of course, he had to “go speak to my manager and see what I can do” because he’s supposedly our new best friend.
[FONT=Wingdings]þ [/FONT]Suddenly the car we wanted, which Veronica said they had, is not there.
[FONT=Wingdings]þ [/FONT]The manager (also claiming to “just want to help us”) informed us that the other dealership was lying and that they wouldn’t honor the quote because it was just a gimmick…strangely the quote was the same type of e-mail that Veronica sent…doesn’t that make him just as dishonest and sleezy?
[FONT=Wingdings]þ [/FONT]Then we of course had to sit and wait while they pretended to search for the car and beat the quote as we were promised in writing…which never occurred.
[FONT=Wingdings]þ [/FONT]After wasting an hour our time, we left and will not return.
[FONT=Wingdings]þ [/FONT]We witnessed are all the typical sleazy sayings, classic bait and switch and “waiting game” ploys.
[FONT=Wingdings]þ [/FONT]We went in to the dealership prepared to write a check for the full amount of the car (as quoted) and left realizing that not only would they not beat the quote we had, they wouldn’t even honor their OWN quote…and we hadn’t even made it to the finance/purchase area where I’m sure they planned to try to raise the prices again.

Be prepared for despicable treatment and lies should you choose to purchase a car from this dealership.
