[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2][FONT=Arial]I should have know better and walked away when they asked for a down payment of 1000$ but with the agreement they would not cash the check.[/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2][FONT=Arial]To get the car down to the 450$ per month mark, they could not accept my van on trade. I exchange they cut me a check for 900$ to cover the cost of three months worth of payments.[/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2][FONT=Arial]I had currently purchased a car from Tomlinson automotive group, with the agreement on the payment would be no more than 450$ per month. A sales rep offered to give me a warranty package that would bring my payment to 591$ per month.[/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2][FONT=Arial]The deal he offered to me was he would cut me a check for the difference between 450$ and 591$ for the first three months, and at that point I could cancel the warranty to bring my payment back to 450$ per month. The finance officer Bret told me the payment could be even cheaper if I sell my van in that period as my credit would improves.[/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2][FONT=Arial]After three months I went in the cancel the warranty and the third party warranty group would send a check to capital one with in 6 weeks. This means I would have that higher payment for a short time. I called capital one to check on the process 2/18/09 and found out that would go towards the principle but it would not affect my payments.[/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2][FONT=Arial]Looking further into the deal I realized the warranty cost 2050$ which is not even in the ball park to bring the payment to the 450$ agreed mark.[/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2][FONT=Arial]I left a message for Bret the finance officer 2/18/09, and spoke with him on 2/24/09 about the info I received from capital one and he verified the information and apologized if the info I received from sales was incorrect.[/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2][FONT=Arial]I also copied other parties involved just to let them know how I feel and to let other know how they did business with me.[/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT]
