I was subjected to high pressure sales tactics from concession manager -- nothing you couldn't shake off with a bit of cynicism, but it still let me feel like a rube.

More annoying is that the concession tried to stuff the bill with some $150 glass engraving, with is mostly useless (and costs $19 if you want it aftermarket). They are lucky I needed a car urgently because I'd have walked off otherwise.
