To whom it may concern:
We've all heard this before, all dealerships are crooks and don't think for a second that they won't try to screw you over, well Schaumburg Kia is that very dealership. Let me start from the beginning on June 04,2008 I called a salesman at Schaumburg Kia named Christopher about a 2007 Ford Mustang Convertible and I stated if it was ok I would like to hold off running a credit check on me that day. Myself and Christopher talked at least three or four times about this matter via cell, when Christopher stated come on in Mr. Sottile we don't have to run a credit check on you today, but we will need too Mr. Sottile you do understand that ? My response was yes.
So I went to the dealership and looked at the Mustang, we then all came to an agreement. A bank was contacted and I was given a interest rate, a monthly payment, monthly terms and conditions and a final payout pertaining to my loan. I was then brought into Brian the finance manger office were I signed a retail installment agreement, a odometer diclosure statement, an after market warranty, a vehicle purchase order, and a state title and plate purchase document. I also signed a Spot delivery agreement, Why? A spot delivery agreement gives a dealership a legal out pertaining to the contractual agreements signed by them and the consumer. Why did I sign the spot delivery agreement? I wasn't having my credit run that day. What was the terrms and conditions of my spot deklivery agreement? five days. Please remember this, I was given the original signed spot delivery agreement by myself and Brian in finance at Schaumburg Kia.Who gave me the original spot delivery agreement? Brian the finance manager.
We can all agree I purchased this vehicle legally? Correct. Brian the finance manager at Schaumburg Kia stated, Mr. Sottile if you don't here from us in five days then just look for your monthly billing statement by the end of June2008.
Well the five days came and went, then ten days came and then fifteen days came and went. On June 19,2008 I was left a voicemail on my cell that wasanything less than understandable. From what I could understand It sated we can't loan you. I immediatley e-mailed Schaumburg Kia back due to the fact I was out of town and stated, what are you talking about this should have already been done, why? My original spot delivery agreement stated you only had five days to null and void the terms and conditions of our signed contractual agreements.
Well to finalize this, there attorney Debra Ashen sent me a legal pleading and guess what Schaumburg Kia had a spot dlivery agreement in their legal pleading that stated what? I had a no day contingency. Now remember I have the original signed spot delivery agreement. As I looked at my original and Schaumburg Kia's erxhibit b, I realized my signatures were indentical, yet Brian's initial were different. No one signs his or her name the same way twice or his or her initials. There maybe similarities but there never the same. Can you minipulate initials or a name by copying it? No. Ladies and Gentleman Schaumburg Kia and Debra Ashen entered evidence in a court of law that was a forgery. Can I prove everything I'm saying? Yes. Anyone who doesn't believe me, I will leave my e-amil adress and feel free to contact me and I will be more than willing to fax anyone over my original and Schaumburg Kia and Ms. Debra Ashens exhibit B.You be the judge! Enter Schaumburg Kia at your own risk.

Dear All, I wanted to praise this individual for letting the truth be known regarding the illegal tactics of Schaumburg Kia, the KIA Corporation and Ms. Debra Ashen. This story has been posted on many websites over the last several months, when I first read this story I contacted this individual to insure his story was true and correct, what surprised me most was his genuine honesty. This individual faxed me over a copy of his original spot delivery agreement and a copy of legal document exhibit B. Please note I’m not a handwriting expert but I do know a forgery when I see one and exhibit B is a forgery!!! In the last two weeks as consumers we’ve started a boycott via e-mail, to let individuals know not to buy a KIA vehicle from Schaumburg Kia, r any other Kia dealership not to mention a Hyundai from Hyundai Motors. To date we’ve reached one hundred and ten thousand consumers worldwide and counting. As consumers we control the tactics of corporations, you commit a criminal act against a consumer, then we put you out of business. The 2007 Ford Mustang Convertible is sitting at their dealership, so just look on their website, and I wonder whom there going to commit a criminal act against next regarding this vehicle. Let the 2007 Ford Mustang Convertible; rot in their lot. Do Not Buy It!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys, Living in Schaumburg Il I was thinking about purchasing a Kia from Schaumburg Kia, but after reading the postings of the mongoose and wrinkler1 I'm glad I checked car dealer review. I wouldn't purchase a Kia from Schaumburg Kia or any other Kia dealership in the U.S. ever. I looked at the 2007 Ford Mustang convertible on Schaumburg Kia's website and it's under fifteen grand, what are these guys thinking? I did notice it said a different dealership name so I wonder if they own multiple dealerships. I would like to join the boycott so please see my e-mail address below, I'm going to look and see how many other dealerships Schaumburg Kia owns, why? So we can include them in our boycott. If they play these kid of games at one dealership, then you can be guaranteed they play them at all of there dealerships. I look forward to receiving the boycott e-mail to forward to all of my friends in Schaumburg IL and beyond. d.ddelorean@yahoo.com

Hey, I wanted to reply to these posts, I had a similar experience at Schaumburg Kia. I went in and looked a Kia Sorrento and everything was settled, then out of nowhere Brian in finance told me that oh, the interest rate and deal we promised you couldn’t happen, I then said why did you make a deal with me? He then replied well what could you do, so I then replied see you later and left. They made a deal with me that they new couldn’t be fulfill, so they lied to me, just to try and force me to pay a higher price for the vehicle. I looked through some websites and it looks like Schaumburg Kia also owns Mazda of Naperville and Evergreen Kia. Let’s boycott them too. If they are willing to lie and cheat at one dealership, then you know they’ll do it at all of them. Dealerships want to know why they’re going out of business, take a look at your business ethics. Schaumburg Kia should be shut down permanently. I’m going to tell all of my friends in Schaumburg IL, the mongoose’s story so they can also boycott these dealerships noted above, which will also include the Kia Corporation and Hyundai Motors.

Dear all, Schaumburg Kia is a bunch of unethical and immoral people. I had a similiar experience with Christopher and Tom, they contacted a bank gave me a great price and interest rate, and then stated wow!!!! we can't hit that price after I entered Brian's office. It's a way to jack up the price on you, but to committ forgery is a whole other matter. Do I believe this dealership would go as far as to committ fraud? Most cerntainly. Mr. sottile thank you for getting the word out on these criminals, and keep the information highway burning. These criminals and the Kia corporation should be put out of business.

Right On! I was going to look at a vehicle and Schaumburg Kia until I read this post. I believe Schaumburg Jeep, Naperville Mazda, Evergreen Kia, not to mention Schaumburg Kia are all affiliated so I would recommend if one dealership are crooks then they all are. I wouldn't buy a kia or Hyundai if you paid me after reading this post. To be honest I looked up kia and hyundai and there are tons of fraudulent claims on the web. Wow! forgery is a whole new bowl of wax though. Tonythemongoose, thank you and keep your story going, why? so know one else get's taken advantage of. These dealerships listed above should be put out of business for good!!!!!!!!!

Dear all,As a finance manager when I first read this story I thought, no way this guys has to be lying. Was I wrong? I had a copy of the original spot delivery agreement and exhibit b faxed to my office and exhibit sure looks like someone traced Mr. Sottile’s signature, Ok it’s a forgery. What I can’t understand is this, why didn’t Schaumburg Kia just honor this gentleman’s contract; they bypassed the allotted amount of days on the spot delivery agreement. I’ve seen this happen at least a hundred times, and you allow the individual to continue driving the vehicle until you straighten out the financing, Sometimes you even have to take a loss on the vehicle to insure customer satisfaction. Here is a simple question, let’s say Mr. Sottile brought back the 2007 Ford Mustang Convertible twenty days later and said I don’t want it. Would Mr. Sottile be held to the contractual agreement he signed? Yes. I looked at all of Mr. Sottile paperwork, and he legally purchased the 2007 Ford Mustang Convertible. What I can’t understand is this, why didn’t the KIA Corporation stand behind Mr. Sottile? Ladies and Gentleman, come on down and buy a GM and we’ll treat you right. I’m going to show this letter to all Gm customers who want to purchase a Kia.

Wow, I wanted to thank the mongoose for his honesty and getting the word out about Schaumburg Kia. I was thinking about purchasing a Kia Sedona from Schaumburg Kia but I wouldn't purchase a Kia or Hyundai for all the money in the world after reading there criminal and unethical behavior, not to mention the Kia Corporation condoning there behavior. I looked on Schaumburg Kia's website for the 2007 Ford Mustang Convertible and it wasn't there so my guess is that they just pulled it off of there website in the hopes no one would see it. To Late! There is a fine line between arrogence and stupidity, and Schaumburg kia and the Kia Corporation are the stupid ones in my opinion. According to this website Schaumburg Kia has already lost two or three sales and counting. Wicked1 thank you for proving that the mongoose's story is straight up and rest assured I will purchase a GM. Schaumburg Kia and the Kia Corporation is it worth losing these many sales over a $14,995.00 dollar car? The big three are begging for money so I'm sure you will too, yet your an import so the U.S. could care less.

Update on Watch your back!
Dear all, This afternoon I got my first opportunity to look at my review posted on Car Dealer Check.com and everyone’s responses were very kind and supportive. My goal here was never to put anyone out of business or destroy anyone reputation, it was very simply to state the truth regarding Schaumburg Kia actions. I began by posting my story on many…many…consumer websites and I’ve received to date, over seven hundred and fifty thousand e-mail responses. The small amount of e-mails I’ve been able to open and read have all been 100% in my favor. I had a group of people I’ve never met before begin a boycott via e-mail of Schaumburg Kia, The Kia Corporation, Hyundai Motors and any affiliates of Schaumburg Kia. As of today’s date, I was told this e-mail boycott has reached over two hundred and sixty thousand people and growing daily. Unreal! Why do I believe there is such an overwhelming response? Very simply put, my evidence is factual and real. Thank You, Tonythemongoose

Wow, you actually think people are buying your con? If they are then they are not very smart or informed. A judge disagreed with you. If this actually happened to you why don't you have an attorney and sue? Any attorney would do it for a commision in a second if what you say happened. Even more you tried this before with ford, anyone googling your name can find you tried to con ford out of a car by not paying and then complaining that you didnt have an address to send the payments too. Sounds like you are just a con artist. If I or anyone I know ever wants a collection attorney I now know who to go to and would reccomend anyone do the same. Sounds like she did her job reallly well.

I wanted to respond to scam, I started my postings to allow the consumers to understand what took place at your dealership.I've stated from the begining anyone who is interested in seeing my original and exhibit B is more than welcome too. I've had e-mails ls from blue colar workers, white collar workers, Judges, and lawyers who asked me to fax over my exhibit B, and what did they all state? Exhibit B is a forgery. If I'm a liar, then please answer this question, why is every post on this website in total support of me not Schaumburg Kia. I'll tell you why, I've never called anyone names or tried to defame their character, I just told the truth. I have faxes to Ms. Debra Ashen and The Kia Corporation giving them the ability to be heard regarding this matter. What was their responses? Silence. I even went as far as to say I would give them all of the websites I've posted on to insure they could respond immediatley to my posts, and what was their responses? Silence. I will state this to anyone or everyone, anything I've stated on this post I will be more than happy to fax over or send via mail. You can defame my character with your accusations but you can't argue the truth. One last thing, If I'm a con, then whay have individuals I've never seen or heard sent out over three hundred thousand boycotted e-mails on my behalf.

Scam give it up, do you know what I tell my clients? If you open your mouth and lies come out, Shut up! You try to destroy a man credibility, why? Because you forged him name on a legal document. Tonythemongoose if you don't have an attorney to sue these morons, you have one now. I'll send you an e-mail and let me know. I've had clients sue Chrysler and write alott of bad things about them, what does that have to do with forgery? You forge tonythemongooses signature and he's a loser? What planet are you guys living on. tonythemongoose I have no idea what legal steps you've taken or are going to take, but we can start off with perjury and then move into defamation, excetra.... Schaumburg Kia, please keep talking your only hanging yourselves..

I normally don't waste my time replying to posts multiple times but scam, schaumburg kia, or whoever you are, you guys are dispicable! I can't believe we live in a country where car dealeships can committ forgery and then call the victim a loser and trash his character. Lawyer1 I work in the legal proffession and I say you hit the nail right on the head. If anyone is dumb enough to purchase a car from schaumburg Kia then you'll get what you deserve. tonythemongoose you have my deepest respect and admiration, don't let a bunch of unethical people trash who you are. Schaumburg Kia if you want to see a proffessional at work, just look at tonythemongooses posts. Do you want to see a bunch of morons at work just look at scam and mikey p's posts. Someone get a hold of the States Attorneys office and put these guys and all of their subsidiaries out of business. Please!

Please read, Scam I did a little research and what I found was very interesting. Working in the legal profession I wanted to insure this wasn’t another bashing of an attorney or their client. After doing some research, I was amazed at what I found. Ok, well the case number is 08LM629 and the room number was 201, not to mention the court date was August 11, 2008 at the Mchenry County Courthouse. Feel free to verify what I’m saying. This pleading was nothing less than defamation 101. Let’s take a look shall we: 1) Schaumburg Kia and Ms. Ashen stated tonythemongoose went into Schaumburg Kia and stated he had a 700 plus credit rating. 2) Schaumburg Kia and Ms. Ashen stated tonythemongoose claimed he was refinancing his home. 3) Schaumburg Kia and Debra Ashen stated tonythemongoose told them that they had to wait fifteen days to run a credit check on him. 4) In laymen terms, they said nothing less then tonythemongoose was a fraud and liar. I’ve purchased at least twenty cars; yet I’ve never had a dealership just give me a car with nothing more then what I’ve told them. Let’s go to every dealership and say hey I have this and that so give me a car, so I can just test-drive it for a month or so. Do Schaumburg Kia and Ms. Debra Ashen believe we are all mindless idiots? Scam, tonythemongoose was very professional, but as we say in the courtroom if you open the door then the big bad attorney will knock it down. You brought up court, the judges decision, and Ms. Ashen doing her job. As individuals we now have the ability to knock down that very door and walk right on in. I think we all know who is lying and who is telling the truth, but as lawyer1 said, if all you can do when you open your mouth is lie, then keep your mouth shut. You may want to ask Ms. Ashen, what happens when you knowingly and willing go into court and enter a forged document as evidence and lie, not to mention Ms. Ashen what happens to attorneys who knowingly and willingly lie and then enter said tainted evidence into a court proceeding. I’ve defended some shady characters in my career, but in all my years in the legal profession I’ve never seen anything this low and unprofessional. Shame on you guys!

Attorney1, I must have recieved thirty-five e-mails over the last hour telling me about your post. I don't know what to say other than thank you Attorney1, lawman1,and lawyer1, and everyone else who have posted on my behalf for being kind enough to give your input and stand up for me. I've also received alott of e-mails about Ford Motor Credit that everyone wanted me to touch base on. I have no ill will with Ford Motor Credit and if I were given the opportunity to deal with them again I would. I was wrong to post on there stock website and I apologize. To date I've never recieved any type of court summons regarding this matter, so I can only assume Ford Motor Credit realized there mistake and moved on. With that being said, I will stand 100% behind my postings of Schaumburg Kia and everyone else involved. Are you kidding me! I had a similar situation with a ford dealer and I was told I would receive 3.9% financing on a 2008 Ford Mustang Gt. I also signed a spot delivery agreement and the finance manager gave me a three day spot delivery agreement yet stated he would know within twenty-four hours whether I was loan able or not. Well six days passed and I received a phone call which stated the best we can do is 11% financing and he then stated that would be a stretch due to the fact my credit was less than great. I stated please understand I signed an agreement and you passed up the allotted time. The finance managers said don’t worry keep driving the vehicle and we’ll let you know. It’s our fault. Well ten days later they contacted me and stated we were able to loan you but at a much higher rate. He further stated we’d honor the 3.9% financing as stated in our signed agreements. What did they do, they dropped the price of the car to insure upon completion of my sixty-month loan the final payout would equal the 3.9% financing. They lost about six thousand dollars on the car but they gained a lifetime customer all of my family members and friends. How long do you think it will take them to recoup their money, not very long? Schaumburg Kia you guys are nasty and I hope your days are numbered as a dealership. You committed forgery, lied, threatened, and made up stories yet everyone can see you guys for who you really are.
