Is this a good price? Or too good to be true? I need a CHEAP and RELIABLE car to get me basically to and from work, since my car was totalled last month. I found this ad on craigslist and was wondering if it seems too good to be true.
"I have a 1997 Nissan Sentra, body is in good shape, brand new alternator, oil change and new brakes. Will go lower on the price but not too much; good on gas as i drive it to [city] to work. Those that are intrested pls email me."
The listed price is $700.
I realize that this car probably has really high milage, but like I said, right now I just need cheap and reliable transportation. The city where this person works is about 30 miles from where they (presumabely) live, which is farther than I have to go for work, so that seems like the car is reliable to me.
