how do i import a 1992 merc 200E into the US? ?

I want to import a 1992 Mercedez benz 200E into the US from the middle-east. This model wasnt sold here, only upscale models with bigger motors (320E onwards) were sold here. Since it has a smaller engine i dont think it would have emissions problems.
The car belonged to my dad and i want to keep it in the family.
Whats the process, how much does it cost, how do i findout what to do.
