Default Why don't car dealers just charge everyone the same price for the same vehicle?

Why do they make you play "Guess the price of the car" ? Why do they give big discounts to some customer & charge other customers more for the same car ?

Is this REALLY the only way they can make a living selling cars, by lying about the price to begin with, (or concealing the price) and then giving some people a discount and over charging others ?

Or are they just hooked on the idea of arguing with every customer about the price of a car ?

And when a dealer advertises "No haggle pricing" is it really no haggle ? Has anyone every haggled down the price of a car at a dealer who advertised "No haggle pricing".

Other business's manage to make a profit without making you guess the price. When you go the grocery store, you don't have to dicker with the grocer over the price of a box of cereal.(You can clip coupons or watch the sales, but those are available to everyone) You also don't get hit up with a bunch of hidden charges when it's time to check out either

Because negotiating the best price is how automobile sales work.

No Haggle Pricing is just a marketing gimmick. Everyone negotiates on price.
