 can I change the rear end in my 02 S-10 Chevy Blazer (2 wl dr) to a higher ratio... ...and get better gas mileage? It has a 5 speed stick and it is geared so low that I never use 1st. gear. Therefore it seems I could change the rear end to a higher ratio and increase the mileage. Is this possible and about how much of an increase could one expect to get. Again it is 2 wheel drive with a 5 speed and a 4.3 engine.      |
