Default Chevy truck leaking coolant?

I have a 1988 chevy 1/2 ton Two wheel drive. Yesterday I noticed that it was leaking coolant from the lower radiator hose, I bought a replacement hose from oriely auto, and installed it this morning. after tightening the clamps, and putting in some radiator fluid I noticed coolant dripping from the lower hose again. It's a brand new hose, the clamps are as tight as I can get them, what could be wrong with it that it is still leaking coolant. Please help, this truck is my only means of transportation at this time!!!!!!

I'd get an additive called Barr's Stop Leak and follow the directions and try that. you might have tiny pin holes where the hose attaches to the radiator...or, take the hose off again and clean the area where the hose attaches with a wire brush or sandpaper and try again.

Also sometimes after clamps get old, they lose their tension when re-installed...might try new clamps too.

Good luck...these can really be pain in the butts.
