Default What are some cheaper ways to improve horsepower?

I have a 98 3.8L camaro and was wondering what i can do to improve performance, i know that i can get a cold air intake and aftermarket exhaust, but i would like some other ideas. Try to keep them under a thousand, not like a supercharger or anything
