do i need a Bill of Sell if i bought an out-of-state car??? Okay I recently bought an out of state car. I live in miami and the owner lives in New York. The car was already down here in miami because some friend of hers were trying to sell it because she couldnt take it with her. So i paid them the money for the car and they gave me the Certificate of Title signed but not in the part where it says for out of state vehicles, only the part above it was signed if you get what i mean...also i didnt get a bill of state. I did get a Notice of Recorded Lien (i have no idea whats that for). the insurance company told me i had to get all of that filled out but i dont know how im going to do this without sending all the papers in mail back to the lady. if i do this i can risk her keeping the papers AND my money. So what do i do? is there some other way that i can get this car registered in my name??
