Default How do I remove the fuel pump from a 1988 Chevy Camaro?

I have a new pump, and the previous owner cut the body open, so I don't have to drop the rear end, or any of that garbage. All I need to know is how to remove the fuel pump itself.

You will need tool made just for these lines. Ask the auto parts counter person which one you need. Other than that, release the wires and the back out the bolts. But, make sure the lines are not under pressure. Do this by opening the schrader valve under the hood located in the line to the fuel injection system. It looks like a tire valve on steroids and should have a metal cap on it. Place a cloth over it so you don't get an eye full of gas.
