Car Dealer Crook Pleads Guilty

A former Covington, Tennessee car dealer accused of ripping off dozens of people will be sentenced on Monday, April 30, 2007. Todd Atkins used to own Todd Atkins Sales on Highway 51 South.


He pleaded guilty to identity theft and forgery on April 16th, after he got a loan for $27,000 in the name of a customer without their knowledge. Others customers say Atkins never gave them titles for their cars.
