Porsche Cayenne GTS Six Speed Manual outsells Tiptronic!?

I am hearing that the new Porsche Cayenne GTS Six Speed Manual is outselling the Tiptronic (Automatic) version. Is this true? Who in their right mind would by a manual transmission SUV?
