lemon law? car problems... someone please help? I traded in my jeep to get another car and I kept it for 4 months but within these 4 months i was having several problems with it and took it back to the dealership before the warranty ran out, the dealership said there was nothing wrong and the problems continued and even began to worsen so I had it checked by 5 other dealerships and they came back with it had transmission problems, power steering, and had been wrecked. The dealership i bought it from finally switched it out for me so i wouldnt not take them to court. I have had the new car for a month and a half now and recently started having problems with it. It is a 2006 jeep commander with 15,000 miles. I have had started problems and some electrical stuff wasnt working and it was towed to the dealership this morning. When i got it back i took it to another dealership just to have it double checked and they cam back and told me the lemon law had been used on it., it had a branded title that had been washed, and was only worth at the most 7,000 but the place i got it from had it listed at 28,500. what can i do? what can i expect out of this situation? |
