 Trick to filling 2002 Ford Crown Victoria gas tank? A family member purchased a retired police cruiser. It has the push-button gas panel release. The tank nozzle looks like any other, but ANY time they attempt to fill the tank at any gas station, the pump will stop after a second or two, which repeats no matter no matter how full the tank is. With other cars I've only see this cuttoff happen when the tank reaches the "full" threshold. Can this be fixed? Is there some trick to filling gas? It takes over 50 squeezes to fill the tank!! Any crown vic owners, please share input      |
