2004 Hyundai Tiburon MOD question?

I have an automatic 4 cyclinder, and wanted to know what exactly I can put 'partwise' to make my car run smoother, better, and safer if possible. I'm not a car expert, and I'm scared of buying things that might not even help.

I just want to know what you think is the best stuff to add to make my car run the best it can, because I really want it to last me 10 years at tops...because i love my car so very much =( i dont want it to die
