Hit and Run please help me?

I hit a car on Tuesday and did considerable damage...

I freaked out and left. I regret it so much and these past couple of days have been eating me alive. Please don't make me feel any worse....I rather just die right now for what I did.

I called the non emergency police hotline and asked them if any hit and run incidents were reported. They said ONE was on Thursday (remember I hit the car on Tuesday)..

It was reported at the same intersection as mine, so I am scared this other person filed the report...

The thing is, this incident was on a PRIVATE parking lot, I called and asked and they said they had NO cameras...

and I honestly think no one saw me and got my license plate #

BUT what if they did??

How long before I hear from the police about my incident. It has been 4 days since I hit the car, but only 2 days since a car filed the hit and run police report

Will I go to jail? Isn't this a petty misdemeanor because this was a hit and run on a parked vehicle??? I have a spotless driving record, am 20 years old...have a grade A average and am truly sorry for what I did...

Will my license be suspended? revoked? I'm so sorry...but please, any info is appreciated
