Does the Lincoln LS 2000 have a rev. limiter? does it cut off at

3000rmp? or do i have a problem? I have a 2000 Lincoln LS 3.9(V8). I feel like the engine is missing, but it only does it when the car is idle?? I don't have any warning lights or anything like that, but I still feel the engine missing. I also want to know if this cars have a rev. limiter??
