2008 Impreza 2.5i? I currently own a 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i. I am looking to add a few light mods including a cold air intake. Through looking online, all i have come across are intakes for WRX or STI models. Is there a difference in the intakes? and could i install one in my 2.5i?
And if its not possable, Is there any cold air intakes for the 2.5i? thank you. |

You don't need a cold air intake.
The gain from a standard intake to a cold air, are marginal, at best. You gain, maybe, a few horsepower, at a peak rpm. But none at the rest. And sometimes, even lose horsepower. Search for yourself, if you want. Importtuner.com has a few power pages, about the WRX, but it's pretty common. Gain some horsepower, lose some torque. Gain top end, lose acceleration. Don't bother. |
