95 monte carlo electrical problem?

I have a '95 Monte Carlo 3.4L that is having an electrical problem I was hoping if I described what my car is doing someone would recognize it and can tell me what it is! Anyway the Problem is when driving down the road the Volt light will start flashing, it doesn’t stay on it just flashes. Then the car will just cut out. When it cuts out everything resets, the radio clock, the door locks don’t work the center light doesn’t work. It restarts just fine but it will do it again farther down the road. The problem is steadily getting worse happening almost every time I drive now. I’ve noticed that the more power I am using the likelier it is to happen, I.e. Headlights, Radio, Wipers. This is not needed though it does cut out without this stuff on. Heck the other day I hit the unlock on my keyless remote and it reset the clock, doors stopped unlocking middle light wouldn’t go on and the vehicle wasn’t even running at the time. Sometime it will almost cut out and some of the warning light come on like anti lock breaks and the ones around it.
I have taken it to a garagae and they claim they can't figure it out or even get it to do it for them, Yeah right! I am going to have to take it to another garage I just would like to figure out what it is first.
