How do i adjust the clutch in my astra g mk4?

My astra g is great but my clutch "bites" really high. I almost stall it every time i try to pull off, because the clutch has to be let out so much before i can get the car moving. Ho do i change this? Is it simple? Can i do it at home? cheers
