Default Question regarding 99 Trans AM's retractable headlamps.?

I have a 99 Trans AM with the retractable headlamps. Recently when i use my key less entry clicker to lock or unlock my car the headlamps flip up then immediately flip back down followed by about 10 seconds of a noise that sounds as if the headlamps motor is turning?!?! This is extremely frustrating and embarrassing... people around my car think its about to blow up. Any one else experience this before or have any ideas? If you need further info just ask. Thanks.
