small block 350 in a 1989 s10 pickup?

I have a 4 cylinder 1989 s10 pickup and I want to put a small block 350 in it. Has any one done this or know any one who has done this. Also, will the transmission out of the s10 bolt on to the 350?........plz! contact me at adamdupre89@yahoo.com

I know it can be done a friend did it. I think they used to sell kits to do it.

It depends on which tranny you have, you didn't say what it was. There have been thousands of conversions of S10's to small blocks...it's nothing new. I know that you a special type of motor mount and the right exhaust manifolds or headers. It's a fun ride when it's done right, except for wheel hop during burnouts.
