Is Subaru Impreza a good car?
what sports car under 20,k have a rugged tough looking exterior gives great mileage .... and runs fast

i am really leaning towards impreza but people are telling me how it geives alot of problems

it must have great mileage too .. 300hp sounds alittle too much i am looking around 185 hp which gives good mileage ...

The Impreza is a good car, but any car is only as good as the last owners maintenance and bad driving habits. With standard care, the Impreza will give a good and reliable car. 300hp Impreza? No way, and you don't need 300hp unless you are going to put the car on the track. All that HP goes to waste in urban driving and just uses gas and requires more long term care. Look at the '64 VW Bug that had 64hp, and got great gas mileage and is still on the road and is still a desirable car.
