My car won't start, (new battery, some gas.)?

I left my old 2001 Honda civic in a garage for 2 weeks. when i tried to start my car few days ago it won't crank, i figure its battery problem. I jumped it with my new car and drove to an auto shop to get it replaced and i drove home fine with the new battery.
when i tried to start yesterday, it wont start (no crank), i tried to jump start it, it cranks but can't start, what seems to be the problem.

p.s when i jump start it the last time i connect to cable together cuz they are not long enough, does that affect anything?
