 Transmission On A 1979 Chevy Custom Deluxe Truck? My Shifter Won't Go Into Gear At All, Not Even When The Truck Isn't Started. I Took The Plate Off The Top Of The Transmission, But It Won't Come All The Way Off. Is There A Pin I Missed? The plate will only come up an inch or so, and I can't see in there to see how to released the shifter and the plate. Does anybody have a diagram of a transmission for a 1979 Chevy pick-up? Is there any website that I can look at a "Chilton's" Manual WITHOUT having to buy the manual?      |
