Volvo 760 turbo dash lights and fuel gauge out?!?

Volvo 760 turbo dash lights and fuel gauge out?!?

I have a 1988 Volvo 760 Turbo and the gas gauge and dash lights are out. The dimmer switch for the dash lights is apparently not working because everything it powers is broken. The wires appear to be connected at all places. The gas gauge is not working either although the sending unit and everything else are in working order. Can somebody please help me?!?!
