Would anyone buy a used 2006 HONDA CIVIC EX I-VTEC SILVER? and if so why..? whats...

...so good & so bad about them? Would anyone buy a used car say a 2006 HONDA CIVIC EX I-VTEC SILVER? If so how much would you pay for a car that's a (56) plate and if one of the air bags is broken and needs put back in the new skin?
Which is a newer model, the 06 plate or the 56 plate..? If the car is registered in Oct 2006 is it true that its a 56 plate?
I love these cars and i want to buy one but I'm not sure how much one that is an EX model will cost me..? I'm also not sure if its good on petrol..? How many mpg? and so If anyone out there, knows these Honda's, and have any advice please tell me everything you know. I'm thinking of travelling a round trip of 400 miles to buy one of these at a lower price, so I need help from you guys on yahoo answer please? Ive never spent thousands on a car before but i love this shape, and I am really wanting your help...so any Honda car enthusiasts with a kind heart to help out a daft girl like me..? THANK YOU!!!! - the car is supposed to have had some HPi problems and i think damaged but only a wheel nut alloy missing, and scratches, and the air bag not being in the skin on one side... p.s. its not a leather interior...so does that make the car value less..? Help!! I'm a woman, and I'm crazy about these Honda's- but I'm scared to buy one before i find out as much info as i can...
