Can I be sued if I voluntary repo my car?

I am thinking about giving my car back to the lien holder, which is a voluntary repo. Can the bank I owe sue me, or gunish my checks, once they have sold the car.

Oh, yes; absolutely. When you borrow other people's money, it has to be paid back. If the car doesn't pay it back, you will.

Once the car has been auctioned off; you will still owe whatever balance is left over. So if you owe 18,000. for your car and you give it back and it auctions off for say 16,000. then you will still owe 2,000 dollars. The cannot garnish your wages for it but they will report it to on your credit.
