is this car a good deal for $3500? please help.

Its a 1991 honda CRX here are the good things.....
10k on 1.6L JDM zc SOHC, 8k on rebuilt tranny, new clutch installed last DEC. New distributer, plugs and wires. new alternator, lightweight crank pully, intake, full headers and exhaust, Air/fuel guage, nice pioneer CD player, new paint last year, fog lights, adjustable shocks/springs, racing seats, driver 5point seat belt. nice viper alarm system. AC works good. full tint. Good looking car for being 17yrs old.

Bad things- (could be normal for old crx) When I drove it it rode pretty rough, (suspention was rough, engine felt strong) it has a very small oil leak, clutch doesnt grab until almost all the way out (dont know what that means) I was expecting this car to be a little faster. it was kind slow.
The only reason I might buy this car is for good mpg, and maybe throw a 50 shot on it to go to the track every once in a while.
please explain y this is or isnt a good deal.
he's asking $3900, I takled him down to $3500 and I'm gonna "sleep on it"

Be ready to replace the clutch. Stiff suspension is normal for those cars. Sounds like an ok deal. Full tint is illegal most places even though alot of people do it, the cops can make you take it off.

id say no its too much, i mean i love honda and crx is like my favorite old honad (s200 my new fav) but it is kinda old so i wouldnt pay that much, i just got a 2000 honda civic vp for 3300. for good listings vistit www.craigslist.org

I dont know, Check Kelley blue Book for actual values Also you might want to look at autoutrader. com

I'd pass on it. It had a new clutch in Dec and it's already worn out! That means that it has been rode hard and put away wet way too many times.

The ride is going to be rough. It's a small car with upgraded shocks & springs almost certainly intended for speed, not comfort.
