what are some fast cars , like everyday cars not like ferrari etc?

i am 16 and yes i am male , prone to getting into unsafe situations with racing lol , i am about to get my frist car , i dont want an automatic (seems kinda slow / girly to me) , i want a car that have good enough gas mileage , is fast like really fast , not too expensive , like $5000 and under , i looked into a few bmw's that are like in the 90's and are under 5000$ with like 200,000km and up , i was wondering can these cars b e good first cars and i heard parts are expensive , but like how expensive are we talking here ,and is the high mileage a big deal on these cars or no? are they fast enough to race like on the track with my friends , they have acura integras , 240sx , honda civic , accord , eclipse , supra.. etc that kinda thing , i want to know the top speed for them and how reliable they are and if i should but private or dealers , but i think dealers might not have these older bmw's in my price range, and is the chevy caviler a good first car ? are they reliable , fast?

no matter what u get at that price if you're going to race them alot you're going to pay alot no matter what for parts when they start to fail alot. just no way around it.

Try the Bugatti Veyron, it's really fast but expensive. The best affordable performance cars are pre-owned VW GTI, they drive and handle well and are pretty reliable. You can get Chevy Cavalier/Cobalt and add performance pieces, but that costs and you are better off with a car designed for performance.
