My 2001 Chevy S-10 4 wheel drive truck is changing from 2 to 4 wheel drive on it's

own. How do I fix it? This pickup has push button control for swithcing between 2 & 4 wheel drive. It won't stay in the drive I select and starts flashing & shifting all on it's own into 4 wheel low. This happens idling and driving. Can someone tell me how to repair this problem and give me directions?

it sounds like theres an electrical problem there , first you should try to trace the wires from your switch , check it too , you may have a rubbed thru spot thats causing a short or a ground thats causing the unit to keep going in and out , OR its just haunted , lol! Good luck and good motoring .
