How much to fix my air compressor on 00' Lincoln Navigator?

I'm pregnant and i already paid to have a hose patched. The compressor was making a noise but at least it worked. Today it went out, and i really just want to sell it ASAP, before the baby comes. How much do you think the labor and compressor would cost roughly?? Because if i leave it broken i'll never sell it.
ok so i've been reading other questions and this is my theory...lol
When i had the hose fixed the mechanic said that due to the loud noise from the compressor it would eventually go out and i'd have to pay him to replace it. But when i had the bumper fixed at Service King the nice guy said it's just the back suspension that's bad. So i'm taking even if it has a noise the compressor is still good, and it's just a leak again. I also read that i can fix the noise in the compressor for around $100. Leads me to believe that the shady mechanic doesnt want me to know that, and just want's me to fix the compressor and did a bad job fixing my leak. So can the noise be fixed?? 8 months pregnant, really need to sell this piece of shit, i'm only asking $6,000 but with that noise it'll never happen. It has a sunroof woodd grain thru out the car so i don't think it's unreasonable.
