motorcycle license in wisconsin? ok, so with the rising price of gas everywhere, and the exorbitant price of driver's education, not everybody can take driver's ed, much less have a car to actually use, so heres my question, why the **** do they feel the need to force driver's education, which instructs mainly on driving four wheeled vehicles, on 16-18 year old's in order to apply for a motorcycle "temp". is there any way around this? because I can't really afford driver's ed, or a car for that matter, I already own a motorcycle, and need to be able to commute to and from work, which is VERY impractical on a bicycle. but from what I hear from everyone who's taken it, driver's ed is a waste, and they teach you the obvious, unnessecary stuff. not to mention that the hardest things in driver's ed (y turns, u turns, parallel parking, etc.) don't apply to motorcycles, and if you're 18 and older, you aren't even mandated to take it.... is there any way for me to get a motorcycle temp license w/o drivers ed? |
