factory car warranty from used dealer?

i bought a car from a used dealer that still had a factory warranty. my transmition messed up and when i took it to the dealer they said the warranty was void becasue the transmition had racing parts but I didnt put them on there who ever had the car before did. If I bought the car assuming it came with the factory warranty is there anything I can do?
