Default Trade in Subaru Forester for more fuel efficient car?

Is it worth it? We get about 17/20 mpg....thinking about trading it in for a Hybrid or a Civic...

Will there be more fuel efficient cars coming out in the next year for under $15K -$17K???

This years Forester was rated #1 and #2 in Consumer Reports, for reliability,etc...
I would check with them about hybrids too.

Have your fuel injectors cleaned professionally.
You should be getting better mileage.
The service will include an additive that you should also add once a month or so.
If after that no improvement, trade it in if the numbers work.
