I'm trying to find exactly where the fuel pump relay is located. I've already read that it's on the driver's side near the wheel well, but there are two relays that could be it. Is there anything that could help me identify which relay it is?
One relays has the "Ford" logo on it, the other has a schematic printed on it with the word "India". I compared the schematic on the relay in the truck to the new one I have and there's a diode on one side of the coil which is missing from the new part. I'm thinking MAYBE someone may have put in the wrong relay which is why I'm having this problem to begin with? I'm NOT the original owner of the vehicle, so who knows what's right or wrong here. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks. |
