which vehicle is better a 2009 Nissan Murano or 2008 Chevy Tahoe?

my mom is planning to trade her Isuzu Ascender 7 passenge but she is undecided to trade the Ascender for a chevy tahoe or a nissan murano so I can take it to school! my father thinks that the murano is "cheap" and prefers the tahoe because its a better vehicle and its comfortable to take family trips to Mexico for new years, we hardly even go to mexico and there is soon going to be 4 members in our family. what do you all think? which vehicles is convinient? what are the goods and downs from these two vehicles?
